Whether it's the powder coat, the stainless fasteners, or the anodized aluminum, the details are what separate good from great. The Lo-Rackk truck rack system is packed full of attention to detail and it shows.

Our stainless fasteners are aftertreated and spray coated with a film anti-seize which further protects against corrosion and prevents galling during install. We could have just thrown some bolts in a bag, but that didn't sit right with us. 

The extrusion endcaps are a custom design and made of a UV, water, and salt resistant polymer. A part that is 99% aesthetic should keep up its appearances after years of outdoor use and our endcaps are designed to do just that.

Every fastener can be installed with a 13mm socket. Talk about a simple, one-tool installation. You can have this crossbar system out of the box and ready to use in under 20 minutes.

You may have noticed the distinct shape of the brackets. After extensive real world testing and simulation, we have come up with the ideal ratio of material to balance weight, load capacity, and dynamic load conditions.

Our crossbar rests on top of the bracket, putting a majority of the load into the brackets in compression. Not only does this increase load ratings, it means that we are able to do more with less material. Bridges, houses, skyscrapers, and just about every large structure ever made is built with this exact principle.

Speaking of install, every fastener can be installed with a single 13mm socket for a simple, one-tool install that takes 20 mins. 

The black plastic endcaps may look entirely aesthetic, but they are designed specifically to drain water from the top channels of the extrusion. All while being made of a UV, water, and salt resistant polymer that will last in harsh outdoor conditions.
