The Sheett truck bed extender is the simplest, easiest, and safest way to haul plywood, transport lumber, secure your kayak, or carry any extended load that sticks out past your tailgate. The Sheett adds up to eight feet of usable length to your truck bed! Unlike a hitch extender, the Sheett folds up like a blanket and can be stored under your backseat when not in use.
When picking a bed extender size, use the chart below to find the longest possible load lengths for your given truck bed length. Both the Standard - 5.5' and Extended - 8' versions of the Sheett are able to be used on any truck and any bed length. Both sizes are able to adjust to accommodate any load length up to the posted values below.

If your bed length is not listed above, the number after the Sheett Size (Extended - 8') can be added to your bed length for a good estimate of the longest load you can haul. The table and values above take into account 1' of load height as well as variances in the locations of tie down points in most truck bed designs.
Please note that while the above values are considered the longest loads you are able to secure, they do not reflect the legal limits of your local laws and regulations. Always comply with overhang limits.

The Sheett’s patent pending design features a heavy-duty abrasion-resistant, water-resistant, and UV-resistant canvas body with a tough interior wear and puncture resistant layer. We double up on all structural seams to ensure durability and longevity no matter what you haul with your truck.
Cam buckles are great for hauling watercraft such as kayaks, surfboards, or paddleboards because they ensure a snug and secure fit without overtightening or deforming the hull or body of the load. Cam buckles will not produce as much tightening force as a ratchet strap. The advantage of the Sheett bed extender is that it holds the load in from the rear, preventing the need to have a load tightened in more than "snug." Cam buckles are a great choice for snug holding power.
Ratchet straps are tried and true, and the Loadd Ratchet Strap is the only strap you'll ever need. Our handles are wider for excellent gripping, better control, and easier use with bulky gloves. We will accept any return within 30 days of receiving your order. That means you get to try any product you buy from us, and if it does not meet your expectations, we will refund you your entire purchase. Used it for plywood, posts, you name it. Works great!
The Rivian has a short bed, with an extending tailgate hinge for 7‘ support, but Sheett lets you haul really long things safely.
I have a truck with a short bed, which is the main reason why I got the Sheett bed extender. So far I've only used it once to secure a bunch of EMT Conduit at Home Depot... worked pretty good and I'm sure will use it many more times.
I have a Toyota Tacoma with a 5 foot bed. While working on renovating my deck I started looking at my options for hauling long boards. I have a bed extender that fits in my hitch receiver but came across the Loadd Sheett and decided to give it a try. I liked the idea of being able to store it behind the back seat when not in use. I hauled some 12 foot boards today with no issues. I started out with just a few boards and put a ratchet strap across the front of the boards. I’m certain I can haul many more with no problems. Bought this because I was hauling a lot of longer materials and have a short bed truck. It's EXTREMELY well made. It takes a minute to get comfortable using it, but it does what it says and does it well. If I ever buy another one, I will get the ratchet strap version.
I purchased this specifically for hauling some of the furniture and surfaces I custom fabricate. Over the years, I’ve been forced to come up with clever ways in order to safety move 10’/12’/14’ tables and this Loadd product has now solved all my problems.
My first trip with it was over 500 miles and it was absolutely perfect the whole way. It held a large 10’ counter in place without moving in conjunction with a bunch of packing foam and moving blankets. Multiple fellas at gas stations along the way asked me how to purchase a Loadd Sheet for themselves.

Well made and works well. I have a ram 1500 with the 5-1/2 ft. bed and this makes getting sheet goods a low stress operation. I ordered the ones with the ratchet straps so the load is very secure.
I recently purchased my first truck. Been an SUV guy my whole life. Naturally, I immediatly went to home depot to buy things I didn't need just to "throw it in the truck". I quickly realized an extra foot of bed length is a big deal. I looked for bed extension options and nothing looked good or was rated well enough to catch my attention until i came across the Sheett. My biggest concern was 10+ ft boards and how to keep them secure and this looked to be a brilliant solution. Took a minute to fit it exactly to my truck, but since then, no issues at all. I can put it on in under 5 minutes now. Also fits neatly under the seat when I am not using it. It is also heavy duty and very well made. For a new truck owner who has yet to have something fall out of the back... I don't know if i ever will now. Thanks Sheett team.
I have a very short bed (4’) trucklet. Easy to carry 8’ boards without any worry about load shifting. Tucks away neatly in its bag when done. Really extends the usefulness of my vehicle.
